The wind rolled down the valley in much the same way as a wave might do over the ocean. The sound of the wind, seemingly growing in weight, almost, gathering speed, stampeding through the mountains.
Louder! An invisible monster one can only hear. Ferocious, now.
Thunderous!
WHAM! An avalanche of wind ravages the tent: grabs it, buckles it, lifts it! Walls cave in, then thrust outwards again, violently. Lanterns dance with crazy abandon.
A moment, then silence, but for the sound of nature's hooves galloping away into the distance.
Darkness. Everything still. Waiting for the next wave.
