I think to spend time occasionally trawling the ocean of your past is a good thing. I'm captivated by these moments, these odd remnants, by all the memories and memorabilia which end up being hauled in my net. A lot of folks seem wary of wading through the past, and I understand this, yet at the same time I perceive the act of ignoring it to be a little dangerous. After all, the only thing to deliver you to your present is your past, that's your storyline, for better or for worse, and I feel it's important to get to know your own story, even if such an experience isn't always a comfortable one.
